Pick (‘Em) and Pop- 9/1

Yes, we’re livid at the Georgia Bulldogs!

Not only did they lose outright after being slight favorites, but Aaron Murray finally decided to put one in the end zone late for the backdoor “over” against the Clemson Tigers yesterday.

Does anybody out there have a home address for him?  He cost us all money.

Anyway, more picks for today’s action.  (All odds from scoresandodds.com as of 8/31 at 1:28 pm, home team in CAPS)

LOUISVILLE (-21.5) over Ohio

God, did they really have to throw in that half-point?  Thankfully, Louisville is a veteran-laden team led by probable Heisman candidate Teddy Bridgewater, and we think they can cover this pretty big number at home… even if Ohio is pretty formidable.

NATIONALS (-142) over Mets

Can’t ignore this game as the Nats try to avoid a three-game sweep against the Mets. They’re off to a real bad start in what was supposed to be an easy set of games, but we expect them to xome through in this virtual must-win sitch.

Giants (+170) over DIAMONDBACKS

Kind of a value spot here as the public is overrating D’Backs’ starter Patrick Corbin, who has been struggling lately.

Season: 2-2
